Clay Pinch Pot Making

Service Description

Join us for a fun session of making pinch pots out of air dry clay. Participants will get all the materials they need to make and paint one or two pinch pots. What is a pinch pot? A pinch pot is a simple, hand made clay pot or plate created by hand, using no tools. There are lots of uses for them, it all depends on what style you make. This is a really fun, and therapeutic technique, which is great for relieving stress and anxiety, as well as strengthening muscles in your hands and fingers and developing fine motor skills (for those who need it!). We will finish off the pots using acrylic paint, and you will be able to take home your creation to finish off the drying process before it is ready to use in a few days time. This is suitable for all ages. Children under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who can assist for free but will need their own ticket if they want to make their own pot.
